Wave Reharmonization and Analysis
Lately I’ve been substituting minor 7th chords for dominant sounds. For example, Cm7 instead of A7, since it has most tensions of A altered dominant. Without the root, I think Cm7 sounds pretty nice just resolving on its own up to Dmaj7. This Wave reharmonization has a bunch of minor 7 chords based on that and on chords Pat Martino would substitute during his solos.
